King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain joined the politicians and members of Spanish society at Placido Arango’s funeral mass in Madrid.
Placido, who died on February 17 aged 88, moved to Spain in 1965 from Mexico and founded popular Spanish food chain Vips in 1969 that he sold two years ago.
For the event, Queen Letizia was wrapped in her black Carolina Herrera wool coat with a black scarf and black trouser.
She was wearing black Magrit pumps.
Her gold bamboo earrings finished the look.
She was carrying her Nina Ricci Marche Chaine Shoulder Bag that she first carried in January this year at the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
