Queen Letizia of Spain, the honorary President of UNICEF Spain, presided over its annual working meeting at the Headquarters of UNICEF Spain in Madrid. The agenda of the meeting was to analyze the organization’s 2021 work and the challenges for children this year were addressed.
At the beginning of the meeting, the president of UNICEF Spain gave a welcome and, after explaining the situation of the Spanish Committee, presented the main milestones for 2021 and what the future objectives are; and the global director of Communications of UNICEF presented the “Global mental health strategy” as the second fundamental point of the agenda of the work session.
The Spanish Committee of UNICEF is one of the 33 national committees of the United Nations Children’s Fund in industrialized countries, where the organization concentrates efforts to make childhood a political and social priority and to contribute to the financing of UNICEF programs for the rights of children and adolescents in more than 150 developing countries and territories. UNICEF works in some of the most difficult places to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. In 190 countries and territories, it works for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for all.
Now to Queen Letizia style – Queen was wearing a long black wool coat that she has had in her wardrobe for some time now.
Underneath the coat, she wore a simple black top with her Hugo Boss Keili skirt that she first wore in 2018 at the “World Rare Disease Day” and since then has repeated it many times.
Letizia teamed up the outfit with her Magrit Mila leather pumps.
