They were also joined by The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Lawrence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, and Princess Alexandra of Kent.

Catherine paired the dress with Queen’s Diamond and Pearl Small Earrings, The Queen’s Three Strands Pearl Necklace, and Triple Strand Pearl Bracelet.

Earlier in the day, The King thanked the Emergency service staff and met London’s Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley. and then The King and The Prince of Wales stepped out onto the Lambeth Bridge to meet the people who had been standing in the Queue overnight to pay their respect to the Queen.

 

The Earl and Countess of Wessex gave a pleasant surprise to well-wishers gathered outside the Palace. After the reception, they walked out of the Palace gates towards The Mall where they met with the well-wishers.


 

The King met with the Prime Ministers of Realms – Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and The Bahamas at Buckingham Palace.

And the evening brought us the most poignant, sad, and beautiful moment of the day all at the same time. All 8 grandchildren of the late Monarch – Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Lady Louise, Viscount Severn, Peter Phillips, and Zara Phillips hold a vigil at the coffin of their Grandmother at the Palace of Westminster Abbey.

It was the first time in history that grandchildren hold a vigil at a British Monarch’s coffin. The Oldest grandchild is Peter Phillips who is 44 and the youngest one is James Wessex, Viscount Severn, who is 14 years old.


Tomorrow the world will see what could be the biggest gathering of world leaders and World Royals at Buckingham Palace in modern history. King Charles accompanied by the senior members of the Royal Family will host a reception for the guests attending the Queen’s Funeral on Monday.
