The Princess of Wales, Catherine, met with British Radio Host, Roman Kemp, last month in Hertfordshire to discuss her legacy project – the Early Years. This week on Tuesday, The Princess of Wales launched the milestone campaign of The Royal Center for Early Childhood – Shaping Us with a 90 seconds long claymation video that depicts the importance of the first five years of a child’s life and how the brain develops during these first years.

Catherine and Kempt recorded a short video to raise awareness about the Early years. Ahead of the video launch, Kensington Palace shared a picture on its social media with the message, “Talking early years and mental health with@romankemp An important conversation on all things #ShapingUs – coming tomorrow with@Earlychildhood.” In the short film, The Princess of Wales and Roman Kemp talked about the importance of mental well-being, and relationships and how by nurturing children in the earliest years of their life, society can build a nation of healthy happy adults.

Roman Kemp is an English radio host and television personality. Since 2014, he has presented the national radio network Capital FM and their own breakfast show since 2017. Roman Kemp is the son of Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp and has previously spoken candidly about his mental health struggles after the death of a close friend, and Capital FM producer, Joe Lyons. In 2021, he presented a BBC Three documentary looking at the mental health crisis affecting young men and revealed he had considered taking his own life after battling depression for more than a decade.
The Princess of Wales has joined hands with many famous faces for the launch of the ‘Shaping Us‘. Catherine had a very busy week with her legacy project. Now to What The Princess of Wales wore – For the video shoot, we saw the return of a winter jacket that we last saw almost 10 years ago.
The Princess of Wales wore LK Bennett ‘Darwin’ Shearling Coat that she wore to watch Prince William play football in 2011 ahead of the family Christmas and then we have seen the coat on some shopping sprees2012.
Kate’s brought back her LK Bennett Darwin coat.

Catherine paired the coat with Holland and Cooper Fairisle Knit sweater that debuted in February 2022 when she narrated a children’s story for a CBBC program and black jeans.
The Princess of Wales was wearing her Madewell Blundstone® Super 550 Chelsea Boots first worn in February 2022 on day 2 of the Denmark visit.
