The Princess of Wales, Catherine, knows how to wow the audience with understated elegance. May 08th 2012 was one of those days. Her husband Prince William was receiving invitations to the lunch organized by the Thirty Club for almost a decade. In 2012, when both William and Catherine (The Then Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) turned 30, William thought it is an appropriate time to accept the invitation.
‘The Thirty Club’ is a powerful media club with some of the most powerful men and women in advertising and the media as its members. Their monthly luncheons feature a guest speaker and in May 2012 it was the Duke of Cambridge. In the past Prince Philip, Princess Anne and Lady Diana had attended the lunch.

The highlight of the day was the stunning look William’s wife of one year chose. Princess Catherine, who is famously known as Kate Middleton, was looking elegant in a pale white floor-length gown from London-based designer Roland Mouret.

Catherine was wearing Roland Mouret ‘Lombard’ Gown. The gown was such a success that the label brought it back again with a new name ‘Ella’.

Mouret’s signature twist on tailoring is seen with an asymmetric zip to the reverse, making this piece as directional as it is classic.
