After almost 4 days long pre-coronation, Coronation and post-Coronation celebrations, The Royal Family marked the Coronation weekend end with The Big Help Out. The Prince and Princess of Wales with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis headed to Slough for the Big Help Out event organized there by Scouts UK.
About the Family day out, Kensington Palace said, “The Prince and Princess joined volunteers in renovating the Scout Hut, with works including resetting a path, digging a new soakaway, sanding and revarnishing the front door, adding planters to the front of the building and adding a mural to create a lasting legacy of the Big Help Out’s work.“
The family helped at the Scout Hut. The Palace continued about the engagement, “The 3rd Upton Scouts Hut was built in 1982 and is used by a variety of community groups in the area, including the local mosque, a senior citizens contact group for members of the Asian community and the Scout group themselves. The building is also used by ‘Slough All Nations,’ a group with a heritage spanning across St. Kitts & Nevis, and which provides recreation and leisure activities to improve health and wellbeing and promote community cohesion.“
The Princess of Wales is the Joint President of Scout since September 2020. Catherine herself is an ex-scout and has volunteered with Scouts many times since becoming a member of the Royal family.
The day was full of fun for three Wales children but it was the youngest one – Little Lou who stole the day as always.
Prince George and Prince Louis joined their father on the JCB machine. The idea behind the Big Help Out during the Coronatin weekend was that Buckingham Palace wanted to create a lasting volunteering legacy. Tens of thousands of charities are taking part, with a total of 30,000 organisations putting on 55,000 events across the UK.

Little Lou was on a sugar rush and was more interested in marshmallows. The cute moments also revealed that Catherine called her youngest child ‘Lou Bug’.

The Princess of Wales chose a casual comfortable look for the day out. Catherine debuted Really Wild Clothing’s Liberty Denim Shirt with Frill Neck.

She paired the shirt with G-Star skinny cargo pants

that she topped with her Massimo Dutti Braided Belt.

Catherine was wearing her Madewell Blundstone® Super 550 Chelsea Boots

and her Daniella Draper Gold Diamond Maxi Cupid Hoops.
I really think the diplomatic significance of the #Coronation has been overlooked by some.
