To mark the Rugby World cup that is currently underway in France, The Prince and Princess of Wales along with the Princess Royal joined the team of ‘Good, Bad and Rugby’ podcast at Windsor Castle. Interestingly the team of three includes Mike Tindall – husband of Zara Philips – Princess Royal’s daughter and William’s cousin.

Prince of Wales is the patron of Wales Rugby Team, Princess Kate is the patron of English Rugby team and Princess Anne is the patron of Scottish Rugby team. The trio joined Mike, Alex and Hask for an hour long chit chat talk about Rugby, how the members of the royal family came to love the sports and positive impact it has on the individual and extended community.
The whole conversation was very interesting and revealed many personal tidbits from the Royal lives. You can watch the full episode below.
During the discussion, Kate Middleton revealed the sporting rivalry between her and her husband Prince William and how they have not finished a tennis match between them. They were described as ‘Monica and Chandler‘ – a reference to 90s hit sitcom ‘Friends‘. They also revealed that they have taken part in Parent’s races at their children’s school in which William came 2nd and Kate ran in bare feet.
Another big reveal during the podcast was that Kate loves cold swimming. We have always known that The Princess of Wales swims to stay fit and athletic but during the discussion she revealed that colder it is more she loves spending time in water.
