Queen Letizia of Spain is back to Royal Duties and as expected her first round of Autumn duties are the annual staples. On Monday, Letizia was in Sigüeiro-Oroso to open the 2023-2024 School year. Opening of the Academic session every year in September part of Letizia’s autumn agenda for which she travels to a different part of the country each year.
This year’s destination was CEIP Plurilingüe do Camiño Inglés in the A Coruña town of Sigüeiro-Oroso. Upon arrival at the Camiño Inglés Early Childhood and Primary School, The Queen was received by the president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alfonso Rueda; the president of the Parliament of Galicia Miguel Ángel Santalices.
Queen Letizia‘s arrival at the school was delayed due to the bad weather causing her helicopter to reroute from Santigo Airport to A Coruña from where Letizia travelled through car to the school. Outside the school she was received by the members of the public with warmth and smiles.
At the school, Letizia toured the school facilities, met with the school staff and spent some time with the school children. These Royal events highlight the domestic education system and bring the focus of higher level authorities to the certain school welcoming the Royal visit. The Royal visits also put the limelight on many small towns and cities. After the tour, Doña Letizia held a meeting with the center’s educational community, in the music classroom.

Another new element of the outfit was €259 Isabel Abdó Carrie Slingback Pumps in navy suede. Letizia has the same pair in beige and black too. The Spanish Queen has been suffering from metatarsalgia in both feet and a Morton’s neuroma in the left foot. To remain comfortable during her public engagements, Letizia usually keep her footwear choice to comfortable and since coming back from summer break we have seen her wearing only kitten heels.
