King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the last public engagement of the year and visited the National Music Auditorium in Madrid to preside over the closing concert of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Royal couple was joined by the Spanish Prime Minister in the royal box where they watched the performance by the Spanish national orchestra and choir. A minute of silence was held before the concert following the tragic mass shooting that took place at the University of Prague.
