The year 2016 was one of the most influential years for The Duchess of Cambridge. With two kids, two foreign tours and one solo international visit in the same year along with her master idea of Heads Together, the year brought the glimpse of Queen Consort that Catherine will be one day.
On the personal front, Catherine’s first child Prince George began the nursery at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk. That meant no more Mustique vacations in the month of January for the family. At the beginning of the year, The Duchess of Cambridge visited Wales and Scotland while preparing for what was labelled as Cambridge couple’s most ambitious tour – A Visit to India and Bhutan.
The year also marked the Queen’s 90th birthday. Catherine welcomed the American President and First Lady at her home in London that year. This year we saw the true capability of the Future Queen Consort who put together the idea of Heads Together. Finally a Vogue cover for the Duchess.
The year was a first of many of Catherine’s Royal life. The second half of the year brought a return to Canada this time with two kids. A solo visit to the Netherlands. Check out the year in detail here.
