Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen out and about in Norfolk. Finally, after lots of anticipation, Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance although it was a personal one. William and Catherine attended the wedding of Catherine’s close friend Ms Sophie Carter to Robert Snuggs.
The couple tied the knot at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were once again playing the role in the wedding party. George was a page boy and Charlotte was the flower girl at her own God mother’s wedding today.
As per the reports of Monique Jesson from People,
“Dressed in a traditional tailcoat and vest, 36-year-old William arrived with some friends. Kate, also 36, wore a striking blue dress as she arrived with the children in a decorated farmer’s truck, which might usually be used for carrying people to a shoot or hunt. During the ceremony, locals joined in the celebration by watching in the churchyard and taking pictures of the occasion.”.
Carole and Michael Middleton, the parents of Duchess of Cambridge, were also in attendance. So it seems the day was actually a family day. William arrives with guests while Catherine was responsible for ushering kids of the bridal party to the church.
Later on, George was seen dashing around the churchyard while little Charlotte headed to her mother, who picked her up and held her as they posed for pictures with Sophie’s family. “George is a real star, quite the little chap,” a source tells PEOPLE. “He was having a great time, running around like the leader of the pack.”
In PEOPLE’s exclusive photos, George, 5, can be seen marching around with a smile on his face, while his sister Charlotte, 3, gives her big brother an amused look. Prince George and Princess Charlotte wore traditional bridal attendant outfits in white and blue from Amaia. Charlotte wore a linen dress in ivory with royal blue embroidered and George wore matching cropped blue trousers, with an off-white linen shirt accessorized with a blue cummerbund. Bojana on Twitter found this picture shared by Amaia on Instagram that contains the dresses worn by both kids. Their dresses, hanging in the middle, has their names as the label.
It was the third occasion for George and Charlotte having a role in bridal party starting with their Aunt Pippa’s wedding in 2017, then they were page boy and flower girl in their Uncle Harry’s wedding this year in May and now today. I definitely hope to see them once again playing the role in their other Aunt Princess Eugenie’s wedding next month.
Sophie, who is Princess Charlotte’s Godmother, has been friends with Catherine for almost over a decade. She was seen with Catherine at Wimbledon 2008 for the first time publicly.
Born and raised in Norfolk, Sophie is part of couple’s close-knit group of friends who are discreet and loyal. Sophie was seen with Carole and Michael at the church service in Norfolk in 2017.
Catherine was wearing her cornflower blue coat dress from Catherine Walker that she first wore on the first day of Germany visit in 2017.
She paired the dress coat with same lace blue dress with a scalloped hemline.
And accessories the outfit with Kiki McDonough Blue Topaz and Diamond Drop Earrings and Kiki Blue Topaz and Diamond Drop Earrings. The blue topaz oval and cushion-cut stones are set in 18 carets white gold and are surrounded by diamonds.
Duchess finished her look with a floral headband. The headband looked similar to the one that she wore at the christening of Prince Louis this year in July, so it seems it’s from same Milliner Jane Taylor.
