Queen Letizia and King Felipe are in the UK for their 3 days state visit. After countering the English weather with a sunny bright yellow dress Queen Letizia chose a burgundy red colour for afternoon tea at Clarence House.
Giving a sartorial nod to the hosting nation Queen chose British label Burberry for the 2nd look of the day 1 of their State visit. Thanks, to @nuriatiburcio on Twitter for the dress ID.
As described on the official online store of Burberry, “A timeless and elegant trench dress made from satin-back crepe, Punctuated with buckle-trimmed epaulettes and a belted waist.”
The trench dress features long sleeves, concealed zipper at the back, hook-and-eye collar closer with storm shield. The dress originally retailed at £950 is available on sale for £475 right now at Burberry.
She paired the outfit with Prada nude heels and diamond and ruby hanging ‘Saudi’ earrings that she borrowed from her Mother-in-Law Queen Sofia.
Queen Letizia carried red Menbur clutch that we saw during Canary Island visit.
After having afternoon tea at Clarence House, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Westminster Palace where King addressed both houses of Parliament in excellent English.
Queen Letizia was the regal epitome of elegance in red while visiting Britain’s most significant part Parliament House.
