Later in the day, the royal couple met with the winners of the “End of Race 2016” awards from the University of Oviedo, the presidents of the jury, the members of the patronage Princesa de Asturias and Fundación Princesa de Asturias, and the winners with the Princess of Asturias Awards 2017.
The award ceremony will be held in the afternoon. On the second day of the formal event, Queen Letizia chose a floral number from her favourite designer Carolina Herrera.
The dress belongs to the 2018 Spring Resort collection of the label. The blush pink Organza silk dress has playful blossoms in neon hues and classic floral appliqués. The dress features a fitted bodice with tied cuffs and a knee-length skirt.
Currently, the design is available as a floor-length gown at $6790.00 on Neiman Marcus.
Queen paired the outfit with contrast burgundy Uterque suede salons. TOUS 18kt yellow gold, ruby, and chrysoprase earrings complimented the outfit.
