On Saturday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia spent the day in the neighborhood of Oviedo.
They visited Poreñu and presented the XXVIII edition of the Prize to the Exemplary People of Asturias.
Every year the award acknowledges the work of local people to keep alive some of the local ancestral traditions and their associative movement to improve the living conditions of their neighbors and a town is awarded as Exemplary town.
King and Queen had a tour around the Poreñu experiencing different activities and encouraging the locals.
