Today Queen Letizia of Spain visited the headquarters of the World Health Organisation in Geneva. Queen was there to attend the meeting with the new Director-General of WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
The meeting outlined the priorities of the new Director-General of WHO, including universal health coverage, health emergencies, maternal and child health, environmental and health, and reform of the WHO, other topics of interest were dealt with, within the framework of Health, Environment, and Climate Change.
The meeting was followed by a debate on air pollution and the role of cities, The Urban Health Initiative, and the First Global Conference on Air Quality and Health.
At the end of the meeting, the Queen held a working lunch at WHO headquarters, which, together with a brief meeting with Spanish officials at the WHO, ended Doña Letizia’s day in Geneva.
For the occasion, Queen brought the ravishing red dress from her wardrobe. She wore the red Burberry coat that she wore Tea at Clarence House with Prince Charles during State visit to the UK in July this year.
A timeless and elegant trench dress is made from satin-back crepe, Punctuated with buckle-trimmed epaulettes and a belted waist.
The trench dress features long sleeves, concealed zipper at the back, hook-and-eye collar closer to the storm shield.
Queen teamed her outfit with a grey HugoBoss coat over the dress. The midi-length coat comes with white lapels. Queen first wore the coat in December 2016 on the 40th Anniversary of Grupo Zeta.
Letizia chose Lodi burgundy patent leather salons for the day.
Small red beans cabochon garnet dangling earrings finished the look.
Letizia was seen carrying Carolina Herrera’s eyeshades.
