Today Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the presentation of the project “Digitized” which aims to train 5,000 women in rural Spanish surroundings in digital literacy, entrepreneurship and employability at Reyes Catolicos Hotel.
The project is initiative of the Women’s Foundation, and Google.org Cibervoluntarios Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, which aims to provide digital literacy training, improve employability and facilitate the entrepreneurship of women living in rural areas.
The event started with the presentation and was followed by a round-table meeting that counted on the experience of three women, from three different generations.
Speaking at the presentation Queen Letizia said, “thanks to projects like this one today, which also belong more to the rural area, women in this field are realizing how important it is in this knowledge society in which we now live to access information. And that’s why I’m here: to give visibility to this project because digital literacy has to do not only with doing paperwork or negotiations. It has to do with leisure, with culture, of course with an improvement from a professional perspective. And it also has to do with that isolation that is more complicated in rural areas “.
Queen Letizia greeted members of the foundations and guests at the presentation.
Upon arrival at the venue, Queen was seen wearing another belted coat from Carolina Herrera.
Crafted from stretch virgin wool and featuring notched lapels, a double-breasted front fastening, a belted waist, and side flap pockets the A-line belted coat is already sold out.
For today’s engagement, Queen Letizia brought a vintage glamour to her look by choosing Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta. Letizia wore a Mid-Blue Crepe Dress having embroidered butterfly motifs – a hallmark of the house Bottega Veneta from label’s 2018 Resort Collection.
Made in Italy, the dress has a feminine silhouette shaped with a V-neckline and elbow-length draped gigot sleeves. Alongside pintucks that pull focus to the décolleté. The Dress is currently retailing at MatchesFashion for $2460.
Letizia complemented the look with Elena Carrera white gold and diamond Mini Butterfly Earrings.
Today Queen was carrying her Felipe Varela Chevron quilted leather clutch. Letizia wore black Prada Saffino Leather Pumps.
