The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are expecting their third child this month, today joined Her Majesty for the Easter Service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.
Prince William and his wife Catherine were late due to the roadworks so arrived after the Queen. Royal Reporter Emily Andrews reported that the couple is spending time with Catherine’s family at her parents’ Bucklebury family home. Today they came directly from Bucklebury to Windsor and were late due to the roadworks on M4.
Joining the Queen and Cambridges at the service were Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and fiancè Jack Brooksbank who are set to get married at the same chapel in October this year, Peter and Autumn Phillips, Countess of Wessex and her daughter Lady Louise, Princess Anne and her husband, Zara and Mike Tindall, Prince Andrew and Edward.
This is the second time William and Catherine have attended Easter service with Queen. They attended last year for the first time and Catherine chose to wear the Catherine Walker coat that we saw in September 2016 at the end of the Canada Tour.
For the day, The Duchess of Cambridge, who is on maternity leave, chose to bring back her bespoke brown Catherine Walker coat that she debuted at the 2015 St Patrick’s Day parade when she was expecting Princess Charlotte.
The chestnut brown, double wool crepe coat features a Chelsea collar, and box pleated front and back panel.
Catherine paired the coat with Lock & Co. Hatters Brown Betty Boop Hat.
And her trusty Gianvito Rossi ‘Gianvito 85’ Praline Suede Pumps.
The Duchess of Cambridge was carrying her Loeffler Randall Tab clutch and finished her look with Balenciaga Eugenia Pearl Clip Earrings.
She was also wearing her UFO Five Pearl Brooch that we have seen in the past too.
