Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine, joined Her Majesty and members of British Royal Family for Christmas Church Service at the church of St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham.
The Queen and other members of the Royal Family attended the morning service on Christmas Day at the country church visited by The Queen’s Great-Great-Grandmother Queen Victoria, which dates back to the 16th century.
The biggest missing part of today’s church service was Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. Palace announced earlier that Duke will not attend the Christmas Service at Church however there is no cause for concern.
Queen arrived at the Church with Prince Andrew.
Since 1988, The Queen and her immediate family spend the Christmas period at Sandringham House on the Sandringham Estate. Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received their country residence Anmer Hall at Sandringham Estate after their wedding from Queen Elizabeth II, so the couple stays at Anmer Hall with their three kids during the Christmas week.
On Christmas Eve, a formal dinner is hosted by Queen. As the event is formal, Ladies wear floor-length gowns and gentlemen attends dinner in black-tie.
On Christmas day, after an English breakfast, the family attends the Church Service that is followed by a traditional Christmas dinner with roasted turkey.
It was a beautiful day, members of the Royal Family coming out of Church after service.
After the church service, the royal family was greeted by the members of the public waiting to see them outside the church.
For the festive day, Duchess of Cambridge chose a very festive look. She wore a burgundy wool long coat that I believe is from Catherine Walker.
The silhouette of the coat was similar to her green Catherine Walker Coat that she wore at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 2017 with Button Detailing at the front and Velvet collars, cuffs and pocket lapels.
She also wore this green coat at Special Armistice Service in November this year.
Underneath the coat, Duchess was wearing a matching burgundy dress underneath the coat.

and a diamond Oak leaf brooch.
Duchess kept the cold weather away with burgundy gloves.
Earlier this week, Duchess was seen doing some last minute shopping at the discount store The Range. Full Article and Pictures of the day can be seen here.
It was the last post of the year 2018. Next, we will see The Duchess of Cambridge in New year. For the last few years, Duchess usually joins Her Majesty for Sunday Church Service in the first week of January so we might see Catherine in 2019 on a Church Service. Happy New Year!!!!
