Spanish King Felipe and Queen Letizia presided over the meeting with scientists and researchers of success in Spain on Wednesday, at the Royal Palace of El Pardo in Madrid.
The working meeting “Encounter with Science: Spanish research in the XXI Century”, was held with senior and junior scientists of success in Spain chosen by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
The meeting has been articulated around the present and future of science in Spain, in which scientists have contributed their vision in relation to the situation and the future of science in Spain.
The topics of discussion on this occasion were: “Research in Spain in the XXI century: Emerging areas, multi and transdisciplinary”, “Challenges of the Spanish science system”, “What university do we want in Spain in 2030?” and “The transfer of knowledge and its impact on the Spanish economy and society”.
After the meeting, King and Queen accompanied by the scientist had a talk in the palace gardens.
For the day, Queen Letizia brought back an ensemble she debuted at the meeting of BBVA in January this year. Letizia wore a new ensemble from Hugo Boss having ‘Frankie’ dark red cuff detail wool sweater with the ‘Trima’ dark red cropped wide-leg trousers.
Knitted from lightweight mercerized wool, the Hugo Boss Frankie Cuff Detail Wool Sweater features crew neckline and metal buttons gleam at the extended cuffs. The $195 sweater is currently on sale and is available for $116.
The Cropped wide-leg trousers are described as, “Cropped culotte-style trousers by BOSS Womenswear, cut with a high waist for a feminine silhouette. Spanish Queen paired the outfit with black accessories. She was wearing a custom made black Magrit Leather Pumps and carried a black bag that was difficult to identify due to the lack of a clear picture.
Letizia finished her look with Chanel ‘Comete’diamond earrings.
