Kensington Palace is surprising the royal fans with treats after treats. After Friday’s behind the scene picture of Duchess visiting her ‘Back to Nature’ garden that will be unveiled on Monday, Palace released few pictures and a video of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis having fun at Mummy’s garden.
William and Catherine took their kids to the ‘Back to Nature’ garden, which Duchess has co-design with award-winning Landscape Architects Andree Davies and Adam White, of Davies White Landscape Architects. The Garden is a woodland setting for families and communities and is inspired by Catherine’s childhood and her kids time outdoor at Anmer Hall in Norfolk and Kensington Palace.
The photographs were taken by Matt Porteous who also took Prince Louis’ christening pictures, Cambridge family’s Christmas picture last year. It was lovely to see the kids enjoying their time regardless of the cameras on them.
Louis the only one year toddler is already up and about, running and keeping his parents on the toe.
Palace told that over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped The Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate the Back to Nature Garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den. In one picture, following her mother, Princess Charlotte enjoyed a round on swing. It is been said that there is one element inspired by Her Majesty in the garden.
Then Papa William took little Louis for a swing around who looks little less than impressed.
A video of the visit was shared by the palace. In this video at one moment, Williama asked Charlotte to help George to which she refused to say ‘no’ and keep on having her share of fun while saying ‘Ooh la la’!! Little Louis made beeline for the camera while having a gorgeous grin on his chubby face.
The Duchess of Cambridge is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular. She recently said,
“I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children. I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.”
In the pictures, The Duchess of Cambridge looks wearing &Other Stories Floral Ruffled Maxi Dress. Thanks to Laura on Twitter for the id.
