Today, Spanish Queen Letizia had a busy day. Earlier in the morning, she joined King Felipe VI at the Palace of Zarzuela to receive an audience from the swimmer and world champion, Ona Carbonell Ballestero.
Ms Ballestero who attended accompanied by the Spanish coach Mayu Fujiki, and a delegation of the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation. Ona has won 23 international medals and is the athlete with the most FINA world swimming medals along with the American swimmer Michael Phelps.
She has competed in three junior world championships, four absolute world championships, and two pre-Olympic championships and in the 2012 London Olympiad, where she won the silver medal.
Later in the day, Queen attended the meeting of the Directors of the Cervantes Institute Centers at the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The agenda of today’s meeting was the international promotion of Spanish Language and its culture.
The Cervantes Institute is the public institution founded in 1991 for the promotion and teaching of the Spanish language and co-official languages and for the dissemination of Spanish and Latin American culture. Its headquarters are located in Madrid and Alcalá de Henares, the birthplace of the writer Miguel de Cervantes, and it is present in 90 cities in 43 countries on five continents.
At the annual meeting of Directors of the Cervantes Institute, the strategy of the institution was analyzed and issues such as models of presence in the world were addressed (through more than 90 centres, classrooms and extensions), cultural diplomacy networks, the new The institution’s website on the internet, the certification offer (DELE Spanish diplomas, CCSE tests to obtain Spanish nationality, etc.) or coordination with the territorial authorities of the countries and cities where it has offices.

Now to What Letizia Wore – Queen brought back her stunning look from 2018 State visit the US. She was wearing Pink Embellished wool-blend bouclé midi dress from American Label Michael Kors. She first wore the dress in June 2018 when she met American President and his wife during State visit.
Letizia paired the look with the dress with pink suede pumps by Magrit that she wore in New Orleans.
Queen was carrying her pink suede matching clutch from the same Label.
Giving a minimal touch of jewellery Letizia chose Gold & Roses Double Dagger earrings that she premiered in June 2017.
