Queen Letizia of Spain today had a busy day in Madrid. In the morning, Letizia attended an International summit hosted by the Spanish Association Against Cancer together with Cancer Research UK. Letizia is the Honorary President of the foundation.
The primary objective of the summit was to analyze the great challenges of cancer research that will have to be addressed in the future and how to approach them. The same summit will also be held during this year in Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
After the summit, Letizia posed for the official photographs with the participants and researchers.
Later in the day, Letizia joined her husband King Felipe at the Royal Palace for two different audiences. First, the royal couple received an audience from the executive committee of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training on the occasion of the celebration of the 1,000th adhesion of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training.
The Alliance for Dual Vocational Training is a social, educational and business initiative promoted by the Princess of Girona Foundation, the Bertelsmann Foundation, the CEO and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, which brings together companies, business associations, educational centres and institutions. Its mission is to promote Dual Vocational Training as a key tool to improve the access of young people to the labour market while increasing the competitiveness of companies.
The second audience was from the Board of Trustees of the Spanish Committee of the World Colleges Foundation, together with the sponsors of the scholarships and the scholarship students in the last edition.
Under the patronage of King and Queen, the Institute works on its fundamental goal to promote peace through multicultural education. The Board of Trustees is the organ of the institution in charge of its government and representation. Currently, United World Colleges has 18 colleges in 4 continents – most of them focus exclusively on the 16 to 19 age group.
Coming to What Letizia Wore – The beautiful ASOS design midi dress with pretty floral and bird embroidery that she debuted in November 2018 during the Chinese State visit to Spain.
Letizia also wore the dress at the Red Cross Day Celebration this year in May.
Letizia paired the outfit with accessories having a slightly darker tone of pink. She was wearing pink suede pumps by Magrit that she wore in New Orleans.
And carried a pink suede matching clutch from the same Label.
The CooLook Sarin earrings that she has in her jewellery box for a long time finished today’s look.
