Today Queen Letizia of Spain started the royal duties after spending summer break with her family at Palma. Letizia joined King Felipe at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela in Madrid to receive audiences.
In the morning, the royal couple received a delegation of the Spanish Committee Persons with Disabilities (CERMI), on the occasion of the commemorative events of the 40th anniversary of the Constitution.
During the audience, they were informed about the progress that has been made in favour of social inclusion of disabled persons into the society during these years. CERMI is the platform working for the defence and action of Spanish citizens with disabilities, representing more than 3.8 million people and their families.
Later in the day, the couple met with the Board of Directors of the Academy of Television Sciences and Arts, on the occasion of its recent evolution. The Academy of Television Sciences and Arts (AcademiaTV) is a non-profit and public interest institution, founded in 1997 on the initiative of a group of television professionals.
AcademiaTV is formed by more than 1,000 academics from the audiovisual sector whose ties with the small screen make the History of Television in Spain. The Academy Council currently brings together representatives of TVE, Antena 3, laSexta, the regional networks of La Forta, as well as Castilla León Televisión, Canal Extremadura, 13Tv, AISGE Discovery Max and CONECTA.
The Institution aims to defend the quality, independence and autonomy of the Television environment. This cultural and scientific institution was born with the ambition to achieve a presence in civil society, but its course is marked by the seriousness, solvency and collective desire to build an Academy in which all the media and professionals of the TV society are represented equally.

Coming to What Letizia Wore – Queen debuted a navy blue Maje Rolene Scarf Dress with Studs. If you remember, we saw this dress earlier this year during Felipe and Letizia’s Argentina visit. No Letizia did not wear it but the first lady of Argentina wore the same dress when she welcomed the royal couple at President house.
The €295 long scarf dress is embellished with aluminium studs. It features an adjustable v-neck with hidden pressed button, long bat-wing sleeves, smocked waistline with back zip, wide vents at front and back and has an asymmetric length and scarf cut.
The dress is not available any more. A closer look at the dress detailing.
Letizia paired the dress with her navy suede Carolina Herrera pumps that she also owns in red, black and beige.
Queen brought back her long chain earrings that are made up of Gold & Roses Milky Way Balance Earrings and Gold & Roses Sunrise Even Balance Earrings. Both pieces are individually available on the official store for €255 and €299 respectively.
Her €89 Karen Hallem Sterling silver signature ring finished the look.
