Today King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain made a second public appearance since the outbreak of COVID-19. The Royal couple visited the Registered Office of Red Eléctrica de España in Madrid to highlight the strategic supply guarantee that Red Eléctrica de España offers.
Red Eléctrica de España is the sole carrier and operator of the electrical system in Spain. Since its establishment in 1985 as the first company in the world dedicated to the operation of the electrical system and the transportation of electricity, its mission has been to guarantee at all times the security and continuity of the electrical supply in the country.
To do this, it supervises and coordinates the generation-transport system and manages the development and maintenance of a reliable transport network that contributes to the progress of society. The REE operators work in shifts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in an infrastructure considered critical and that has maintained at all times the energy supply to homes, hospitals, and all the centres that are in the first pandemic line.
Felipe and Letizia visited the Emergency Room where they saw the process of seamless Electricity supply. Since the announcement of a national-wide alert due to Coronavirus, the center has seen the demand for supply by at least 8% which by now has increased by 20%.

In the face of the pandemic, the company has implemented a contingency plan that includes the application of hygiene, health, and safety measures for employees. The team of employees is working independently while isolating themselves from others.
For the second public appearance in the last few weeks, Queen Letizia chose BOSS Karonita Bouclé Blazer. Thanks to Queen Letizia Style Blog for the id.
The £270 BOSS blazer in stretchy viscose blend with a beautiful bouclé appearance. The front zip gives it a touch of originality. Precise darts accentuate the narrow fit, and the waistline is further emphasized by the colour-coordinating piping.
