As Spain is slowly easing out of the aftermath of COVID19 lockdown, boosting the morale of the country, The Spanish Royal Family today stepped out for the first family outing. King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain along with their daughters the Princess of Asturias, Leonor, and the Infanta Sofia visited the Canal Theaters in Madrid.
The family followed the medical guidelines and wore masks for the visit. The Madrid Canal Theaters have resumed its artistic activity after the closure caused by the crisis of the coronavirus pandemic. It’s opening today with the play ‘El Amor brujo. Gypsy in one act and two paintings’, by Israel Galván. The show comes to the Teatros del Canal, with the dancing of Israel Galván, the singing of David Lagos and the piano of Alejandro Rojas-Marcos.
It is the first show of the Madrid en Danza cycle, which celebrates its 35th edition until June 28 in the Red Room. King Felipe and Queen Letizia with the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía attended the play this afternoon, in support of culture, in one of the first great European public theatres that reopen its doors after the worldwide pandemic.
Yesterday, Felipe and Letizia launched the tourism campaign “Spain for Sure” to encourage the tourist. Spanish economy relies on art, culture and tourism heavily. It’s good to see the Royal family stepping out to promote the nation and helps its recovery.
For the first public outing with her family after COVID-19, Queen Letizia of Spain looked very stylish and chic. Queen wore a black sleeveless top and was carrying a black leather jacket.
Letizia paired the top with a gorgeous golden Massimo Dutti Pleated skirt with waistband. The £99.95 lined skirt features an asymmetric flared hemline and side zip fastening. It is currently retailing for £69.95.
Queen was wearing her Macarena Alba 10 Serraje wedges that she wore earlier in the day for a visit to SOS Village.
Letizia chose Bimba y Lola Gold Hammered Effect Hoop Earrings.
Her ever-present Karen Hallam ring was not missing.
