Spanish King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia offered a luncheon at the Royal Palace of Madrid in honour of the President of Colombia, Iván Duque and the First Lady, María Juliana Ruiz.
The visit of the President of Colombia takes place at a time that marks the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Spain, a country that is the main European investor in Colombia and the second in the world, after the United States.
Speaking at the lunch King Felipe said, “The ties that unite us do not only look to the past but are decidedly projected into the future, marking a joint path when facing the great challenges of the current global era. Spain and Colombia share such important approaches on the need for green reconstruction, the commitment to renewable energies, or equality between men and women.

For the day, Queen Letizia brought back her long sleeve satin midi dress from Spanish label Massimo Dutti that she first wore in June 2020.
The red dress features a round neckline, long sleeves with button details on the sleeve and a draped skirt with a slit. The dress was part of the brand’s 2018 Fall-winter limited collection and retailed at €199.
Letizia teamed up the dress with her red suede Carolina Herrera slingback pumps.
The Queen was wearing her mother-in-Law Queen Sofia’s Aldao Joyeros Ruby Cabochon Earrings that feature pear-cut diamond with pavé diamond drop, and an oval ruby cabochon.
And her Karen Hallam ring was not missing either.
