Located in the Social Security Training Center, the CAR Center for Care, Collection and Referral of Ukrainian Refugees, supported by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, combines social care with the issuance of documentation by the Police, which allows Ukrainian refugees to obtain residence and work permits within 24 hours and gives them access to health and education, social support, accommodation, and economic aid. Announcing the news, Palace said, “After two long years of the pandemic, mental health has become a growing problem in the population. Cases of depression, anxiety, and other disorders derived from both confinement and the medical, economic, and social uncertainty caused by the covid situation have increased considerably, leaving significant collateral damage to people’s mental health. For this reason, it is a priority issue and UNICEF understands that the Queen is the right person for the position, since she has been very concerned about this issue for years and has made it a prominent part of her official acts”.
