Once again giving the royal community a brilliant weekend surprise, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought Prince George and Princess Charlotte to another much-anticipated event – The Easter service at the St. George’s Chapel of Windsor Castle. It was the first time when Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended the annual family event.

95 years old, Her Majesty The Queen, did not attend the service due to her mobility issue, and it has been reported that we will not see her much around the public events anymore. Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall attended the Maundy Service this week and are spending Easter at their Balmoral estate.

Joining The Cambridges were The Earl and Countess of Wessex with Lord Severn and Lady Louise, Peter Phillips and his two daughters Savannah and Isla, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Mike and Zara Tindall with their daughter Mia Tindall. It surely looked like a happy family reunion at the Windsor castle after the service where families usually come together for the lunch every year.

Once again the family was looking color-coordinated in blue outfits. Just like her previous attendances, The Duchess of Cambridge once again chose to repeat something from her wardrobe for the annual service. A look at her previous outfits can be found here.

This was the fourth time when The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended the Easter Service at Windsor Castle since getting married in April 2011. In 2012 they joined Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall at Balmoral Estate for the service. In 2013, they spent it in Anglesey, where William was working as a search and rescue pilot. The 2014 Easter service was spent in Australia when the couple was undertaking their first-ever tour of Australia-NewZealand.

They joined the Middleton family in 2015 and 2016 for the service. In 2017, the couple first time attended the service with The Queen followed by 2018 and 2019. 2020 and 2021 services were canceled due to the pandemic.
