The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, visited Windsor Foodshare, a charity that provides food to the locals in the Windsor area. This was Catherine’s second engagement of the week. Yesterday she met with a new advisory group of the Royal Center for Early Childhood at Windsor Castle.
The visit helped William and Catherine in learning more about the support organisation provides to individuals and families living in the local area. The charity is marking its 10th anniversary this year. The organisation is part of Windsor Christian Action and relies on monetary and food donations. If you would like to donate, please visit the charity page here.
The Royal couple helped volunteers sort food donations and packages for clients to collect later in the day. The food packages are the short-term help that Windsor Foodshare provides to any local household where there is a likelihood of an individual or family going hungry due to a lack of funds. The Packages contain ambient foods, bread, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables. Once a month package also contains toiletries and cleaning products.

During the visit, The Prince and Princess of Wales met with volunteers running the service to learn more about the support system they provide, and the charity’s founding principles which centre around treating everyone equally and without judgement. They heard about the UK’s wide rise in the cost of living, and how it is impacting badly the families and individuals at ground level. How it has increased the demand at the charity. Kensington Palace said, “In 2022, the charity helped to feed over 7000 local residents, an increase of 18% from the previous year’s support, meaning that on average 150 people receive food per week from Windsor FoodShare.“
Now to The What Princess of Wales wore – Catherine chose her signature semi-professional look for the day from her wardrobe.
The Princess of Wales was wearing her Hobbs London Tilda Wool Coat that she first wore in November 2021 during the school visit.
Underneath the coat, Catherien wore her Hobbs London Lara Merino Wool Roll Neck Jumper also debuted in November 2021.
She paired the jumper with her Jigsaw High Waisted Sport Luxe Trousers debuted in December 2018 when she and William visited Cyprus to meet the deployed military personnel.
And topped the trouser with her Anderson Crocodile Embossed Belt.
Catherine brought her comfy Emmy London Josie Block Heel Pointed Shoe back.
The Princess of Wales teamed up the look with her Orelia London Chain Huggie Hoop Earrings first worn in February 2021 during a video call.
And of course, her Annoushka Eclipse Diamond Eternity Ring, Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring, and Welsh Gold Wedding Band were not missing as always.
