On day 2 of the Angola visit, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain had different agendas in the morning. King Felipe joined The President of Angola for the Angola-Spain business meeting. Queen Letizia joined the First Lady for a visit to Lucrecia Paím Maternity in the capital city.
During the visit, Queen Letizia learned about the work that is done in it with newborns and where the “Born Free to Shine” campaign was presented, an activity related to health issues of the “Ngana” Foundation Zanza”. First Lady, Ana Afonso Dias, is the President of the Foundation.
During her tour of the centre, the Queen visited the breast milk bank, the neonatology, HIV screening and triage rooms, and the doctor’s office.
The visit ended with a meeting with patients and health personnel from the maternity hospital. This was the only solo agenda for the Queen during the visit.
Queen Letizia was wearing a white VanderWilde Guadalupe jacket with Celia Trousers. Thanks to UfoNoMore for the id. The €220 Double-breasted jacket is made of linen edged with piquillo ribbon, sleeves with tailored shoulders and 4 pockets. The label has two versions of the white jacket one with black/grey ribbons and another with white. Letizia chose the darker one.
The matching Celia €125 trouser is described as, “Straight linen pants, with front and rear darts. Front zip closure and lined button. Side pockets.”
Queen Letizia brought her Macarena wedges back.
Letizia was wearing her gold huggie hoops
and Coreterno ring.
