Queen Letizia of Spain concluded the Royal week with two audiences at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela in Madrid. First Queen Letizia received a representations from Code.org. The organization presented her with the report “Observatory of Computing in Spain”, prepared by Code.org and Deloitte, which analyzes the importance, expectations and employ ability that Spanish society grants to the regulated teaching of programming and computing.
The study analyzes the access and depth of content of computer training in schools through personal interviews with opinion leaders, teachers, parents and students and 2,000 questionnaires that collect a representative sample of Spanish society and its distribution by autonomous communities, gender and age.
Then Letizia met with representatives of the Editorial Board of the magazine of El Español “MagasIN”, the first women’s portal of a digital native newspaper. El Español launched a space dedicated to women “MagasIN”, which will deal with everything that concerns women. Women’s health in all its phases, labor issues, conciliation, the repercussions of gender violence or reports attached to the news, but from a gender perspective, are present daily on the cover.
The purpose of “MagasIN” is to generate balanced information that values the professional activity, the personal concerns of women, without forgetting more playful and pleasant aspects. “MagasIN” was born with a fundamental objective, in addition to entertaining, that of contributing to a more equal and complicit society between women and men.
