Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are looking forward to more than 3 weeks long Spring school break. The three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales will begin their spring break on this week. Their Lent term (Winter term) at Lambrook School ends on March 24th and the summer term will begin on April 19th.

George, Charlotte and Louis started at the Berkshire based school in September 2022. Joining a new school brought so many changes for them – Prince William and Princess Catherine chose to move out of London city and made Four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Grounds their home so that children could be near the school. The Prince and Princess of Wales have openly stated and accepted the importance of being hands-on parents on various occasions. As Lambrook is a private school it gets longer term breaks than the state run schools.

And on the first day of the school, The Royal family suffered an loss that no one will ever be able to compensate – Death of Queen Elizabeth II. It took the family sometime to sit back and grieve the loss of the Matriarch of the family after fulfilling the public responsibilities. And since then William and Catherine have been ensuring that their children can have a smooth and happy childhood and school life at home.

If we go by previous year’s routine, whenever the children were on school break, family usually moved to their country heaven – Anmer Hall. Away from the prying eyes, located on the Sandringham Estate, Anmer Hall is the Wales’s Family Home. Move to Anmer hall means we will not see much of The Prince and Princess of Wales.

But that was a routine when the couple was not the first in line to the throne, so we might see a different scenario this time. But as we are still in the very early months of Carolean era after almost 70 years of Elizabeth II’s reign things are not very clear when it comes to Royal and public life balance especially for the Prince and Princess of Wales who have three young children at home.
