Queen Letizia of Spain visited “Nebrija (c. 1444-1522) – The pride of being a grammarian ‘Grammaticus Nomen est Professionis’” Exhibition at the National Library of Spain in Madrid. The exhibition is being organized from November 25 to April 9, which covers the life and work of the Spanish humanist Antonio de Nebrija as as part of the V centenary of the death of Elio Antonio de Nebrija.
The exhibition highlights the importance of grammar in different professions and presents a wide range of examples of how grammar and language are fundamental to the success of professions such as law, medicine, teaching, translation and many others and the importance of grammar and language in daily and professional life, through the work of Elio Antonio de Nebrija.
The curator of the exhibition, Teresa Jiménez Calvente gave the Queen a tour of the exhibition and explained the different moments in the life of Professor Nebrija, who he immortalized with his work. The exhibition is made up of more than a hundred pieces from the Library’s internal collections, which are accompanied by other creations on loan from a dozen Spanish institutions, all selected by the curator Teresa Jiménez Calvente.

Letizia again brought back the dress in January 2020 at the inauguration of The International Tourism Fair – FITUR. Then we last saw the dress in February 2021 during a Palace audience. Last we saw Queen Letizia wearing the dress in October 2022 at the Mental Health Day event.
Once again Letizia paired the dress with her leather-suede pumps from Magrit that she debuted in November 2018 during a Peru visit.
