Queen Letizia of Spain, the Honorary President of UNICEF Spain, held a working meeting with the organization’s Board of Trustees at the UNICEF Spain headquarters. The meeting discussed the work being carried out by UNICEF, specifically the situation of children in Turkey and Syria, and the relief work after the devastating earthquake that devastated parts of both countries on February 6.
During the meeting, Her Majesty the Queen was also informed of the main results of the third edition of the Opinion Barometer for Children and Adolescents promoted by UNICEF Spain and by a research team from the University of Seville.
Before leaving, Letizia received the book ‘UNICEF: 75 years defending the rights of children’, which has the collaboration of Spanish writers, photographers, painters, illustrators, humorists, journalists and academics.
