Infanta Sofia of Spain received the sacrament of confirmation with her classmates at the Asuncion de Nuestra Señora Church in Madrid. Sofia was joined by her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, Elder Sister-Princess of Asturias, Leonor, and Grandmother Queen Sofia for the ceremony.
Another set of proud guests included Sofia’s maternal grandparents – Paloma Rocasolano and Jesus Ortiz – Queen Letizia’s parents. Mr Ortiz was accompanied by his second wife Ana Togores.
King Felipe VI was the chosen godparent for the ceremony. Sofia’s elder sister Princess Leonor also received the confirmation at the same church in 2021.
Sofia is a student of the Santa María de los Rosales school and finishes the last leg of the 4th ESO on June 22nd. King Felipe and Princess Leonor are the alumni of the same school.
Infanta Sofia will enjoy the summer break with her family before heading to UWC Atlantic College in Wales, UK for 2 years of International Baccalaureate. Princess Leonor graduated from the same course from the same college last weekend. These two weeks have been emotional for both King Felipe and Queen Letizia to see their daughters grow up so beautifully.
Queen Letizia Style – Confirmation of Infanta Sofia
Letizia was wearing her pink Hugo Boss Ibiaska Blouse with white UFO trousers.
The Queen teamed up the outfit with a new white Hugo Boss Kristin Belt. The $120 Italian-leather belt with signature buckle is currently available in black colour.
She was wearing Macarena Alba2 espadrille wedges in Cotton Frost
and carried her white Furla Metropolis Shoulder Bag.
Her Corterno ring was not missing either.
Princess Leonor Style– Confirmation of Infanta Sofia
The Princess of Asturias, Leonor, was looking chic in a floral print Polín et Moi Rosario Dress. Thanks to UfoNoMore for the id. Leonor teamed up the outfit with a beige Zara x Narciso Rodriguez Leather Clutch
and navy Calzados Picon Letizia espadrilles wedges. The €80 wedges were described as “Women’s espadrille in split leather cut and leather lining. Padded leather plant. Jute floor.” They are currently available in all sizes in 5 different shades.
