The Princess of Asturias, Leonor, finished 2 years International Baccalaureate at the UWC Atlantic college and today graduated from the college in the presence of her family. King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and Infanta Sofia flew from Madrid to Wales for the short ceremony.
Princess Leonor joined the college in August 2021 and stayed at one of the student residences of the college. Leonor spent two years at the the scenic UWC Atlantic College located in the historic St. Donat’s Castle in Wales with a black backpack on her shoulder. The 12th century castle is set in 122 acres of woodland and farmland with its own valley and seafront.
The Heiress to the Spanish throne, Princess Leonor studied Languages, Social studies and Art at the college. She is said to be good at Catalan, Arabic, Mandarin and French also. Princess Leonor of Spain was a member of an American summer camp where she practices tennis, sailing and gymnastics and is also an accomplished cellist.
Now, the elder daughter of the Spanish King and Queen will be heading home and will be spending summer break with the family before heading for Military training at the Military Academy in Zaragoza on August 17, 2023. The training is part of the 3 years long Military Training. The first leg of the training will be completed at the General Military Academy Zaragoza, then a year with the Navy, and lastly Air Force.
After the ceremony, The Spanish Royal Family stood for some candid photographs and much to the surprise of the Royal world few selfies that were later on shared by the Palace communication team.
