Queen Letizia of Spain was at the Hotel Rafaelhoteles in Madrid to preside over the opening of the Mental Health Spain Congress. Letizia is the Honorary President of UNICEF Spain and Advocate for the Mental Health of Children and Adolescents of the Organization throughout the world. The Congress was organized by the Health Confederation Mental Spain.
The event was marking the 40th anniversary and this year’s motto was “40 years for mental health, for rights, for you.” The event included the round table “The situation of mental health in Spain: analysis of the associative movement”, in which the president of the Castilla y León Mental Health Federation and member of the board of directors of the Spain Mental Health Confederation participated.
