This was the first time we saw William and Catherine at any foreign royal event. This role used to fall upon either William’s father, Charles or his uncle, Edward during Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. I am assuming with the change of reign and now William being the direct heir it would be William and Catherine representing the British Royal Family on foreign royal events. But their personal connection to Jordan also played a huge role here.
Queen Rania is one of The Earthshot Prize ambassadors – Prince William’s dream project. He also made a solo visit to the Middle Eastern country in 2018 and spent time with Crown Prince during official engagements. Catherine spent 3 years of her childhood in Amman in the 80s. But whether the Couple continues to be the Ambassador of the British Royal Family or not, we will find out later in the year when Denmark and Norway will be hosting big events marking Prince Christian’s 18th birthday and 50th birthday celebration of Prince Haakon and Princess Matte-Merit respectively.
The Royal couple landed in Amman yesterday evening. The couple was seen arriving at St Regis Amman – 5 Star Luxury hotel in Amman. Embracing the sophistication and timeless heritage of the world-famous St. Regis New York, The St. Regis Amman, is an established luxury hotel in Jordan’s capital city. Showcasing a 5th Circle location in the district of Abdoun, it’s moments away from noteworthy attractions in Amman. I believe St Regis is the couple’s headquarters for the visit.

What The Princess of Wales wore at the Jordan Royal Wedding
On the Style front, we saw The Princess of Wales making a distinguished choice than her go-to Alexander McQueen outfits. The Princess of Wales wore a pink Elie Saab Floral Embroidered Gown. Thanks to innominate on Twitter for the id.
Catherine looked extremely elegant and feminine in the 2017 collection gown. My assumption is although we saw The Princess of Wales wearing this gown in public for the first time, it was actually not the debut of the gown. Catherine might have worn the Lebanese designer’s piece somewhere in 2017 or 2018 when there were at least 3 family weddings – Pippa Middleton in 2017, Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie in 2018. We saw the day outfits during those weddings but we never found out What the Princess of Wales wore to the evening receptions at each of those weddings. This gown might be fron one of those receptions.
The $9007 gown was part of the Lebanese designer’s 2017 Fall-winter Ready-To-Wear collection. The collection itself was inspired by ‘ Giselle’ the two acts musical ballet by Adolphe written and played in 1841. Layers of tulle and ruffle dominated the collection and we can see them in this gown too
The Princess brought back herUFO Pink Diamond Statement Earrings that she first wore in 2011. We last saw them at The then Prince Charles’ birthday party in 2018.
The Princess of Wales was carrying her Wilbur and Gussie Gold Glitter Charlie Clutch
The Princess of Wales was wearing her Prada Scalloped Sandals.
