King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain stepped out with their daughters, The Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia, for a movie night. They were joined by Felipe’s mother Queen Sofia for the evening. The Royal family was photographed outside the Cineciutat cinema in Palma de Mallorca where they watched blockbuster hit ‘Barbie’.
Both Leonor and Sofia joined the movie mania and wore pink for the night out. The Royals are enjoying a down time in the summer heaven- Marivent Palace. Every year they take some time off during this time to recharge for the busy fall and winter before Christmas break.
Next week, Princess Leonor will be heading to the Military Academy of Zaragoza to begin her three years long military training while a week after that Infanta Sofia will be heading to Wales for high school. It will be an empty nest feeling for Felipe and Letizia who are reportedly very hands on parents. At the same time, its a moment for them to feel proud to see their little girls growing up to be intelligent and confident young ladies.
