Princess Rajwa Al Hussein attended the launch of a Jordanian exhibition at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore with her husband Crown Prince Al Hussein of Jordan. Hussein and Rajwa were on 2 days long visit to Singapore where Hussein attended various engagements with Government officials and organizations.
While Rajwa joined him on two other engagements – a launch of the Jordan-Singapore Tech Alliance Forum and then to meet with the Singapore PM and his wife. This was Rajwa’s first public appearance and first international visit of the year 2024.
At the gardens, The Royal couple toured the exhibition, which contributes to promoting tourism in Jordan and enhancing tourism exchange between Jordan and Singapore, and Crown Prince Al Hussein took part in planting the first Jordanian olive tree in the gardens. The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to view models of Jordanian archaeological sites, photo exhibitions of these sites, and examine mosaic pieces from the Church of St. Stephen in Umm Ar Rasas.
Princess Rajwa – an Architecture graduate found this visit very enthralling and was seen asking lots of questions about the Garden development and structure. Jordan’s embassy in Singapore is organising the month-long exhibition, in partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) and the Royal Botanic Garden, in cooperation with Gardens by the Bay.
