Queen Letizia of Spain attended the Safe Internet Day at the Royal Casino of Madrid an international event organized by the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE), under the motto “Together for a better Internet,” with the aim of promoting the safe and positive use of digital technologies, especially among children and young people, and their closest environments.
This was Queen Letizia’s only public engagement scheduled for this week. The event began with the a video about INCIBOT, the mascot created by INCIBE to disseminate cybersecurity issues among young people. The international event “Safe Internet Day” is organized by the Insafe/INHOPE networks of Internet Security Centres in Europe, with the support of the European Commission.
The National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE) is an entity under the governance of Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service.
