The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary in April 2024. The couple got married on April 29th in 2011 at Westminster Abbey in what was dubbed as the Royal Wedding of the decade.  To mark the special day, the couple released a never-before-seen photograph from their April 29, 2011 wedding. The formal portrait was taken by Millie Pilkington who was the Royal couple’s personal photographer to capture their special day.

The picture was taken at Buckingham Palace after their wedding. William who wore Irish Guards Uniform for the day changed into the Blues and Royals Uniform for this picture. Princess Kate was wearing her white Alexander McQueen Wedding gown with delicate Cartier Halo Tiara and Robinson Pelham Wedding Earrings. In her hands, she holds a bouquet of lily of the valley.

The couple has been staying away from public eye due to the difficult family circumstances they are facing. The Princess of Wales had a planned abdominal surgery in January this year but after surgery the medical team found some cancerous elements hence she is going through preventive treatment right now. Kate talked about her Cancer diagnosis and treatment in a video released by Palace in March this year.
