Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Wales turned 09 this year. To mark the birthday, The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a beautiful picture of the young Princess. The picture was taken by her mother, Princess Kate, in the last few days in Windsor. Sharing the picture on Kensington Palace social media, the Palace wrote, “Happy 9th Birthday, Princess Charlotte! 🎂 Thank you for all of the kind messages today.”
Born on May 09th in 2015, Princess Charlotte is 2nd child of Prince William and his wife, Catherine. Charlotte is currently third in line to the British throne. Charlotte is the first Royal women in the British history who will not be displaced from her succession to the throne by a younger brother due to the The Succession to the Crown Act in 2013 which states that girls will not be overtaken by any future younger brothers.
Charlotte is currently studying at Lambrook School in Berkshire along with her two brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis. We have seen Charlotte a lot more in the public eye last year due to various important events and few public engagements with her parents i.e. Commonwealth Games, Wimbledon etc.
