Prince George of Cambridge is turning 6 tomorrow. To mark the occasion, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Catherine shared three beautiful pictures of their eldest child taken by the Duchess of Cambridge.

Two pictures were taken by the Duchess in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace while fulfilling my last post’s wish the third picture, in which George is wearing a green t-shirt, is from their recent summer vacation.
Prince George, the third in the line was born on July 22 in 2013. The wait ahead of his birth was candidly called ‘the Great Kate Wait’ as media was sitting in front of the doors of Lindo Wing for many days before Duchess gave birth to her first child.
In one of the picture, where George is lying on the grass, he is wearing his favourite Soccer Team’s shirt and laughing out loud while showing his missing tooth proudly. Picture definitely captured a very happy and carefree moment. This is the first time when we got pictures of Prince George taken by his mother Duchess of Cambridge. I am sure the family album has so many candid shots of all three Cambridge kids like this as Duchess herself is an amateur photographer.
Earlier Dailymail revealed that The Queen leaves present in Prince George’s room every time he stays over at Buckingham Palace. Duchess revealed in ‘Queen at 90’ documentary that George calls his great-grandmother ‘GanGan’.
Wishing a very happy birthday to our little prince who is determined not to remain little any more. A look back at Prince George’ life as so far. The beautiful collage was made by lovely Christin Zi on Twitter
We will see William and Catherine on August 09 when they will be competing against each other for King’s Cup.
The Sun is reportingthat William and Catherine are there with their three kids George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and Catherine’s family. Mustique has been a long-standing part of William and Catherine’s lives. It is believed the couple first visited the place in 2006.
Since then they have celebrated many winter breaks at the beautiful in the Caribbean heaven coinciding it with Carole Middleton’s birthday in January. But now with kids being in school its not possible for them to spend winter break so they have chosen to spend summer breaks there.
Mustiquea 1400-acre island, steeped in history and surrounded by intrigue, lies in the stream of islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines just a hundred miles west of Barbados. In 1958 Lord Glenconnor, Colin Tennant bought the place for £45,000. In 1960 Colin gave Princess Margaret a plot of land as her wedding gift that made Mustique a staple piece in royal life.
I am expecting a beautiful picture of Prince George next week marking his 6th birthday whose first international flight was also believed to be to Mustique in January 2014.
I hope we will get a surprise from William and Catherine and they will share a picture from their vacation just like we get in 2016 from their French vacation.
For this latest project, the RSN created a hand-embroidered textile by only using compostable materials to complete the surround of a forest den. The hand embroidery techniques of Whitework and Needlelace were a perfect combination to emulate a camouflage style netting and provide magical, dappled light into the den.
The ethos of the design was to create a piece which employed the traditional skills of hand embroidery combined with the fabrics and materials of the garden. Fine embroidery threads were replaced with jute garden twine, and fine linens and silks replaced with coarse hessian fabrics. The unique hand embroidered textile artwork was then set over a Birch tree ‘A-frame’ to create the forest den. Angie Wyman, Course Leader for the RSN Degree in Hand Embroidery said:
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the Duchess of Cambridge again and to be able to showcase the adaptability of needlework. This project was brought to life by RSN staff, Degree and Future Tutor students. It is a perfect example of how RSN students work collaboratively and can successfully apply their design and hand embroidery skills to new contexts and materials.”
Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and one of the British Summer and Royal Calendar highlight. Since 1877, it has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon – a private club founded on 23 July 1868 in London and is played on outdoor grass courts. Duchess took the patronage of the AELTC in December 2016 from Her Majesty.
Before the match, William and Catherine met with the ballboys and ballgirls.
A video of the couple. They were once again welcomed by the Wimbledon Chairman and his wife Gill Brook. Gill commented on the couple’s coordinating look.
The Duke of Kent, President of The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, and The Duke of Cambridge congratulate the players, ball boys and girls, staff and referees who have all made this year’s Wimbledon tournament a huge success.
The royal couple took the front row in the royal box to enjoy the match. During the match, Prince Louis gets signed Stan Smith shoes.
Catherine’s reactions during the match are worth waiting for a year.
It was an incredible match between two great players that lasted 5 sets for more than 2 hours. It was the longest singles final in the history of Wimbledon. Finally, the previous Wimbledon Champion Novak Djokovic was able to keep his title with 7-6(5), 1-6, 7-6(4), 4-6, 13-12(3).
The last shot of the match and the moment when Novak Djokovic retained his crown to become Wimbledon champion for the fifth time after a historic men’s singles final.
Today was the another first in the Wimbledon History. The AELTC Patron, Duchess of Cambridge presented the trophy at the tournament for the first time. It must have been a serene moment for Catherine who is a keen tennis fan and comes from a family where tennis is a sort of family thing. Watching her today presenting the trophy were her Mother Carole Middleton, sister Pippa Middleton Matthews and her younger brother James Middleton.
Usually, it is the Duke of Kent who has been President of the club for almost 50 years, presents the winning trophies.
Novak Djokovic bowed very sincerely to the Duchess before accepting his 5th Wimbledon Title.
Duchess congratulating Roger Federer, the runner-up after the longest match. Roger is a Middleton Family Friend who has also given private lessons to Prince George recently at Middleton family home in Berkshire.
Catherine paired the dress with a new pair of pumps. She debuted Aldo Nicholes ankle strap pumps. Thanks to Laura on the quick id (although Yours truly also own the same pair, but was late to point it out). The $80 shoes are described as, “A 40s inspired stacked heel ankle strap pump, swathed in luxurious faux suede, brings a vintage touch to an indisputable must-have for the modern girl”.
Yesterday, while Catherine was out with her sister and sister-in-law to enjoy Wimbledon Ladies’ final match, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were having a family day out with their grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton at a local summer festival in Berkshire. People’s Magzine reported,
Enjoying all the traditional stalls and games at Englefield Summer Fete, 5-year-old George and his 4-year-old sister Charlotte had a blast with Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. “They were having such fun going from stall to stall, playing on all the games,” a local villager tells PEOPLE, adding: “George did pretty well at the ‘crockery smash’ stall. He looked very pleased with himself.”

The royal siblings enjoyed several turns on the inflatable bouncy slides, exploring the small gathering as they held hands with Kate’s parents.
“They were so cute, and Charlotte particularly was very friendly, politely saying hello to other children. George was running around, exactly like all the other children,“ says the local.
As the kids are on summer break, so Palace has not announced any schedule engagement for Duchess of Cambridge. I am expecting one or two unannounced engagements in the upcoming weeks otherwise we will see William and Catherine at the King’s Cup in August.
