Wednesday was a fun-filled day for Cambridge Clan. Prince William and Prince Harry were playing at a William and Harry for the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day, where they were cheered on by a special group of kids. Duchess of Cambridge took her all three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Polo Trophy at Billingbear Polo Club.
The Cambridge kids were joined by their 2 months old cousin Baby Archie. It was the first time we saw little Prince Louis at a Polo match.
Polo matches used to be the highlight of Young Princes’ summer since their dating days. We saw the then Catherine Middleton every year cheering William during Polo Matches. Now 10 years later we are seeing their kids with them. It is almost a serene feeling.
As George and Charlotte are on summer break and will be back in school in September, the Cambridge family is spending summer at their country residence Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
On Tuesday a twitter user revealed a surprise bump into Duchess of Cambridge at Pensthorpe.
Pensthorpe Natural Park – family attraction is located just 25 minutes’ drive away from Anmer Hall. Created by a visionary conservationist, Bill Makins, the stunning 700-acre nature reserve located within the Wensum Valley offers many unspoilt habitats to explore ranging from ancient woodland to wetland walks to glorious gardens. Read more about the park here.
During the match, kids seem to have lots of fun. George and Charlotte tried their feet at football. I am sure the kids spend lots of time outdoors playing at their home given mummy Catherine’s love for outdoors.
The show-stealer was the youngest member of the Cambridge family, Prince Louis who kept her mummy on toes.
At one moment, Louis tried her mother’s sunglasses and showed it to his young cousin Archie.
We got a glimpse inside what William keeps in his car. Well, as expected a family man’s car was full of kiddy stuff sufficient for a small picnic.
This year’s King Power Royal Charity Polo Day had significant meaning for the Srivaddhanaprabha family as they paid tribute to Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha by presenting a memorial trophy in his honour. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha – a Thai billionaire businessman was the founder, owner and chairman of King Power Duty-Free. He died in a plane crash last year. Both William and Catherine visited Leicester in November 2018 to pay the tribute.
The event raised £1 million pounds for fifteen benefiting charities including the Invictus Games Foundation, African Parks, the English Schools Swimming Association, Fields in Trust, Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund, RFU Injured Players Foundation, Irish Guards Appeal, Map Action, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, Rhino Conservation Botswana, the Royal Marsden, the Passage and the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.
Coming to the Sartorial details – Duchess was wearing L.K. Bennett Silk Madison Dress.
The dress was described as “Cut from soft and sumptuous silk, this flowing dress cascades over the figure to a demure midi length and features loose-fitting sleeves and a beautiful all-over print.”
It is an old style of the label so I believe Duchess has it in her wardrobe for a long time as we have seen her wearing the same dress in purple in August 2015.
Catherine paired the dress with her Catherine Zoraida Gold Fern Hoop Earrings that we have been seeing constantly recently. They are also available in silver.
Duchess once again trust her Castaner Carina Wedges for the summer outing with her kids where she was constantly running after trouble maker Louis.
The new element of her outfit was Mulberry Ruby Red Croc Darley Bag. Thanks to Christin Zi and Replicate Royalty on Twitter for the id. The £595 bag is described as, “The Small Darley is iconic with the Mulberry signature postman’s lock and is perfect for carrying essentials or used to keep valuables secure inside an everyday bag. It can be transformed into a mini bag thanks to its detachable chain strap”.
The Duchess’ specific bag is not available any more, but the style is available in many different colours on Mulberry Online Store now for £446.
Catherine finished her look with Cartier Ballon Bleu watch
and Ray-Ban Wayfarer II 55mm Sunglasses.
As the kids are on summer break and family is currently living in Norfolk, so there is no schedule engagement for Duchess of Cambridge. But I expect her to see at Wimbledon finale this weekend.
