On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain travelled to French Capital, Paris, to see the retrospective exhibition of Joan Miró’s work: “Miró, The Color of My Dreams held at the Grand Palace in Paris.
Felipe and Letizia were welcomed by the French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron upon their arrival.
Joan Miró I Ferrà was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride.
Around 250 of his works including paintings, sculptures, drawings and ceramics are being exhibited at the exhibition Miró.
Then both couples together visited the exhibition.

The curator of the exhibition Jean-Louis Prat briefed the royal couple about the work of Spanish artists being exhibited at the exhibition.
Felipe and Letizia received the greetings of the gathering in the balcony of the Grand Palace.
Before leaving Felipe and Letizia held a brief meeting with the representatives of the sponsors of the exhibition and received the catalogue of the exhibition.
Later in the evening Felipe and Letizia attended the dinner hosted by French President and First Lady in the Parisian capital.
For the day in the Fashion Capital, Queen Letizia of Spain wore one of the stunning pieces from her wardrobe. She wore a blue dress by Spanish label Delpozo that she first wore in December 2017 at Sports Awards.
The off-shoulder royal blue cocktail Flower-appliqué jersey dress featured an asymmetric neck, three-quarter length sleeves, oversized floral detail on the front right side, flexible boning at bodice, darts at chest, structured waist, pencil skirt, pleats at skirt. The dress is currently available on YOOX for $1088.
She paired the gorgeous dress with Nina Ricci suede pumps and carried matching navy Felipe Varela clutch.
She finished the look with floral diamond earrings that were a wedding gift from King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia. And tied her hair into a messy bun.
