King Felipe and Queen Letizia with their daughters Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia were at the Real Club Nautico in Palma where King Felipe took part in the 39th Copa del Rey Mapfre Sailing Cup. The sailing event is an annual highlight of Palma summer.
At the Real Club Nautico, The Royal family met with the sailor Joan Cardona who won bronze medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in the Finn class. It was the club’s first medal in the series in 73 years.
