Concluding the visit, The Prime Minister Office of Bahamas shared this tweet.
As you might have read through the last week that there were many speculations about the future of Monarchy in Caribbean countries. At the end of their 7 days tour, in an unprecedented approach – that I am sure was consulted with both The Queen and The Prince of Wales – The Duke of Cambridge released a statement in which he said,
“Catherine and I are committed to service. For us that’s not tell people what to do. It’s about serving and supporting them in whatever way they think best, by using the platform we are lucky to have”.
Full transcript of the statement.
Despite the media hype and ongoing discussion, The Royals understand the fact that there will be realms who will in the future remove The Queen or British Monarch and embrace the republic status. And as William said during the Bahamas speech, “The royal family will support the decision with pride”.
I just want to add to this ongoing discussion that the decision of keeping a constitutional monarchy or having their own President, is only for the people of these realms. Until they actually do so, it’s just a discussion, at best a hype and at the worst a propaganda to spread hate and negativity. Whenever a county decides to embrace republic status all parties involved do so with a happy smile on their faces and a hope for a better future.

Tonight they left for the home after a formal departure ceremony at the airport.

For the departure, The Duchess of Cambridge chose Alessandra Rich Belted floral-print silk-jacquard peplum midi dress. Thanks to Middleton Maven for the quick id.

The Duchess was carrying what looks like her Salvatore Ferragamo clutch debuted during the tour and

her Patrick Mavros Ocean Tides Milky Quartz earrings.

Middleton Maven suggested that Catherine was wearing Gianvito Rossi 105 leather pumps.
