Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia began their today’s agenda in Girona with a workshop organized by Code.org at Albéniz Mansion in Barcelona. The workshop was guided by Hadi Partovi, CEO of Code.org, both Princesses were joined by the young people from the “Generation Teachers” program who have been trained in programming with the aim of bringing the language of code into the classroom.
The Royal Family is visiting Girona for the annual Princess of Girona Foundation awards and this is the first time Leonor who holds the title of Princess of Girona will be presenting the awards.
Yesterday, both sisters visited Dali Theatre-Museum to mark the beginning of the events related to the foundation.
The Princess of Girona Foundation, AulaPlaneta, and Code.org have joined forces to promote the learning of computer science in the classroom, through teachers.
In the afternoon, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia will join their parents for the Princess of Girona awards ceremony at the Ágora Auditorium of the AGBAR Water Museum in Cornellà de Llobregat ( Barcelona).
Later on, they were joined by King Felipe and Queen Letizia at the gathering to greet the young participants.
While Leonor and Sofia were participating in the workshop, Felipe and Letizia were meeting with the advisory board of the Princess of Girona Foundation.
For the first engagement, The Princess of Asturias wore a long shirt-dress with floral print.
Leonor was wearing Polín et Moi dress. Thanks to Nuria for the id. The €69.95 shirt dress features a flower print in black color, a collared neckline with a front button-down, self-belted waistline, and cuffed sleeves.
She paired it with black wedges and a pair of gold hoops.
Sofia paired it with Macarena wedges.
