King Felipe and Queen Letizia returned to Santiago once again this year for the annual National Offering to Apostle. And as expected they were joined by their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia.
The Offering to the Apostle is a ceremony that dates back to 1643 during the reign of Felipe IV and since then the Monarch has been attending the annual event as a part of the Summer royal calendar.
The Royal family was welcomed in the town with a Military ceremony after which King Felipe reviewed the troops. Both Letizia and Leonor chose bright summer shades while Sofia chose to pick an ensemble that was a lovely contrast to her father’s dapper look.
